The Park Services Attendant keeps waterpark areas clean and orderly including the restrooms, Guest Services, patio areas, pool deck and upper mezzanine. Must be willing to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in any public area, working both independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

General Duties
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, changing areas, and other common areas regularly.
    • Sweep, mop, scrub, squeegee, and vacuum floors, stairs, and office spaces as needed to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the Pumphouse.
    • Maintain clean pool decks and attraction areas by removing towels, trash, and debris from floors, tables and chairs.
    • Clean windows and windowsills as needed.
    • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste regularly.
  • Supplies and Towel Support
    • Check with laundry periodically for clean towels and deliver them to the front desk.
    • Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
    • Refill spray bottles and mop buckets as needed.
    • Prepare mop buckets for designated locations throughout the park.
  • Maintenance and Communication
    • Report maintenance issues to management promptly.
    • Notify management of supply shortages so inventory can be maintained.
  • Safety and Guest Service
    • Respond promptly and respectfully to guest questions, comments, and requests.
    • Follow safety procedures and protocols to help maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
    • Perform other duties as assigned, whether related or unrelated to the primary position.
  • Opening Duties
    • Floor Care
      • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all floors throughout the park, including the center section, food court, and main stairs.
      • Move furniture as needed to clean around and beneath tables and chairs.
      • Vacuum carpets throughout the park as needed.
    • Cleaning and Setup
      • Sanitize and wipe down tables and chairs throughout the park as needed.
    • Supplies and Guest Readiness
      • Restock cabanas with towels and water as needed.
      • Check bathrooms to ensure amenities are stocked and replenish supplies as needed.
      • Bring the morning towel bins to the front desk.
    • General Responsibilities
      • Perform other duties as assigned, whether related or unrelated to the primary position.
  • Closing Duties
    • Trash and Towel Handling
      • Empty trash throughout the park as needed, including in locker rooms and cabanas.
      • Collect used pool towels throughout the park, including the outdoor hot tub area, and deliver dirty towel bins to laundry.
    • Cleaning and Sanitation
      • Sweep, mop, and scrub the mezzanine and bar area, including countertops.
      • Clean and sanitize the men’s, women’s, and family locker rooms.
      • Clean all cabanas by sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down and sanitizing chairs, tables, and credenzas.
    • Facility Upkeep
      • Replace carpets as needed.
    • General Responsibilities
      • Perform other duties as assigned, whether related or unrelated to the primary position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a professional and courteous attitude towards guests, other employees and the general public at all times. Must be available on weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

RESORT CONDITIONS
This is a Winter Resort Area. It requires that work venues are varied, and in many cases include steep stairways, multilevel buildings and outdoor work areas, subject to very cold, sometimes wet or very sunny work sites. Some facilities are located at the base or bottom area, and some are semi-remote and can only be reached by traveling via chair lift(s), skis or snowboards. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Workdays and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
